FindMyParent.org (FMP) is a compassionate and innovative platform developed by Cirruscloud Systems, aimed at reuniting children with their missing parents due to reasons such as adoption, custody battles, or parental abduction. The application provides a safe, accessible, and emotionally supportive digital environment to assist users in their journey of family reunification.
This web and mobile-based solution is accessible across all platforms—Android, iOS, and web—and integrates key features such as advanced search, data filtering, and legal resource access, ensuring the application is user-friendly, secure, and meaningful.
Client requirements
The client envisioned a global platform where separated children could connect with their biological parents using a search-based system and legal resource support. The platform needed to be accessible, intuitive, and designed with empathy and security in mind. Specific requirements included:
- A powerful search feature to find parents based on name, gender, location, and date of birth.
- A publicly viewable database of missing parents.
- Sections for legal guidance, user stories, and community support.
- A responsive UI/UX for mobile and web users.
Problem Statement
Reuniting separated families involves a mix of emotional sensitivity and technical complexity. While social media platforms offer communication, they are not purpose-built for the serious task of finding missing parents. Our client required a dedicated, safe, and search-focused platform that also addresses the legal and emotional aspects of the reunification journey.
